The new C820RQ is a digital touch screen universal thermostat with a modern and elegant design, featuring only 3 LED digits and 3 buttons. It is designed for the control of heating and cooling systems with temperature setpoint control in ON/OFF mode or with TPI function for greater energy and cost savings through advanced management. It is also suitable for meeting the requirements of new plant engineering standards, such as hybrid systems, heat pumps, pellet boilers.

Dual power supply, mains or battery
The C820RQ is either mains-powered or battery-powered. The dual power supply allows it to be wall-mounted or mounted on a flush-mounted box, allowing installers to choose between the 500, 502 and 503 types.
The thermostat is equipped with a temperature adjustment scale from 2 to 40 °C with an increment of 0.1 °C and, as we have seen, it can be powered either from the normal mains or from batteries. In the latter case, the battery life is more than 1 year, thanks to the low-power components used for the display. The output type is a 5(3)A 250 Vac relay and the standard control differential is 0.3 to 5 K. The reference thermal gradient is 4 K/h.
The C820RQ thermostat also complies with EN 60730-1 and parts two, Directive 2014/30/EU (EMC) and 2014/35/EU (LVD). It is classified as Class IV ErP (Reg. EU 811/2013 – 813/2013), with guaranteed energy savings through ON/OFF control or with TPI function for an innovative approach to comfort.
