HOMOLOGATION AND INSTALLATION
Homologation
- Compliant with Directive 2014/35/EU;
- Complying with Standard EN60335-1;
- CE
Installation and use- The cable is ready for use: it has a Schuko plug to connect directly to the mains and a thermostat (+5°C to +15°C);
- Thanks to the electric socket and the thermostat, installation is simple, safe and fast;
- Secure the pipe with the relevant fixing tape: code K50 for steel pipes or code K50AL for plastic pipes;
- The cable must be as long as the piping;
- In the case of large pipes, the spiral cable may need to be wound so as to ensure adequate heat, taking care not to overlap it at any point;
- It is advisable to apply an insulating coating over the heating cable for a correct installation.
- The cable is ready for use;
- The cable is actuated when the contact temperature drops below +5°C and automatically goes off when the temperature exceeds +15°C;
- It consists of a resistance wound in a spiral on two conductors and in contact with these at junction points at constant intervals (the energy to heat the resistance is drawn at the splicing points).
ACCESSORIES
- Code K50: fiberglass fixing tape for metal pipes
- Code K50AL: fixing tape for plastic pipes
- Code KFAN: labels for the presence of a heating cable
