Thermal energy calculator split version
-
DESCRIPTION
General features0
Separate (split) thermal energy calculator easily connectable to external flowmeters equipped with pulse output and to be installed on sites where because of pipe sizes larger than ¾” or hard to reach places, the compact heat meter cannot be used.
- The ECCM33 calculation unit is equipped with distinct sections capable of simultaneously accounting for:
– thermal energy of a heating circuit
– thermal energy of a cooling circuit
– volume of the domestic cold water meter
– volume of the domestic hot water meter - The unit has been designed to facilitate installation and reduce commissioning times. The ECCM33 unit is equipped with a wired “M-Bus” communication line and a wired “Local Bus” communication line with proprietary protocol to allow consumption to be consulted by the user via compatible Fantini Cosmi chronothermostats or HBES systems .

HOMOLOGATION AND INSTALLATION
Homologation
- Approved according to the MID 2014/32/UE MI004 standard and the EN1434 standard.
Installation and useThe thermal energy calculation unit must be connected to a meter
installed on the system return pipe.SEE UNDER: EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION ON RETURN PIPE.
- The ECCM33-ECCM33R calculation unit is equipped with dedicated sections for the measurement of thermal energy of a heating/cooling circuit and the measurement of the volume given by the domestic hot and cold water meters.
- The calculation unit is suitable for domestic applications with two-pipe systems, in a boiler room or any other compatible application.
- In residential systems, usually with two pipes, the measurement of thermal energy takes place on a single section in both heating and cooling regimes.
