According to research conducted by the World Economic Forum 3 out of 4 companies are unable to find the profiles they are looking for. From another report, upwork’s Future Workforce shows that the areas of work where it is most difficult to find talent are information technology, sales & marketing, manufacturing and front office.
The talent shortage is one of the most important challenges companies face today for their future. Offering a higher salary, bonuses or benefits is no longer the winning solution to grab the best talent: a different work culture is needed, where employees are appreciated, stimulated and encouraged to fulfil their interests and ambitions.

The event, taking place over three days, 16-18 November, will see 102 SMEs attending the Bovisa campus for one-to-one interviews with engineers, architects and designers from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Applications closed on 2 November: recent graduates were able to select and send their CVs to the companies closest to their interests and with jobs in line with their studies, and now it is the companies’ turn to select the candidates they would like to meet for an interview.
For recent graduates, this is an opportunity to come into contact with successful Italian SMEs, and to have their first interviews that can open up access to the labour market.
