Over the last 10 years, the electronics industry has undergone extraordinary transformations, redefining the way we interact with technology. Connectivity has become ubiquitous, enabling faster and more stable communication and paving the way for the Internet of Things (IoT), in which everyday objects are connected to the network.
The miniaturisation of components has made devices more powerful and compact. In parallel, artificial intelligence and machine learning have revolutionised data processing, enabling devices and systems to learn and adapt autonomously. Sustainability has also become a priority, pushing the electronics industry towards greener materials and production processes with less environmental impact.
These advances have changed the way we live, work and relate, paving the way for a future in which technology will continue to evolve at an accelerated pace.
“Changes in electronics: talk to managers” will be the central theme of the event organised by the Polytechnic University of Milan (part of the Career Service Award program) on 19 September at the Leonardo campus in Via Golgi, Milan, to bring together young students and recent graduates of the Milanese university with the companies that are at the forefront of the evolution of electronics. It is a format that allows companies to meet students to guide them in their career choice.
Fantini Cosmi will be present with its R&D manager, Roberto La Capruccia, who will meet in shifts with small groups of students to recount what his professional development has been like and pass on to the students career inspirations in which they can mirror themselves. Roberto will have the opportunity to tell the students about the most significant changes that are taking place in the electronics field and to delve into the innovative projects carried out by Fantini Cosmi, also illustrating which are the most in-demand new jobs in electronics today.
A real mentoring course for young people at the Polytechnic University of Milan, to find out what’s new and what career opportunities there are in this field!
